Hello First Grade Families!  

I am absolutely thrilled to be your child's First Grade Teacher this year! Such adventures await...we will enjoy the magical world of reading and writing, experience being scientists and mathematicians, and enjoy a journey together filled with laughter, friendships and fun....all while sharing the joy of learning. Please check our class website often...it will keep you up-to-date on the "latest and greatest"!  

Just a little bit about me...I taught Kindergarten for 14 years in CR, and have taught both 1st and 2nd grade at MMW.  I am super-excited to be in First Grade again this year...I LOVE it!  I am a CR graduate, attended Rutgers University, and returned to RU to complete my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Here is a pic of the DiCesare 5! We are a big baseball, soccer and basketball family. When not on the sidelines, I love to visit the beach (Ocean City, NJ is my favorite!).  

I can't wait to meet all of your sweeties...and find out all about their most favorite things to do :)   Here's to an AWESOME year!
